She Was and Is
She was beautiful
The sun shone through every crevice of her soul.
She was perfect.
She had the understanding of a million stars shinning light years away
So bright and so illuminating
She was the epitome of perfection
Produced by the energetic dreams of old
Vivid and so tantalizing
I couldn’t erase the memory of her
I couldn’t go a day without closing my eyes and not seeing her beautiful face
She was my Mona Lisa. A conundrum. An enigma.
She was my life! My everything.
My world would spin out of its orbit..
Crash and burn out. If she wasn’t there.
In my head I write poetry. But struggle to put them into functioning words and sentences
There meanings echoing within every heart beat…
You were my salvation. You brought a smile to my face.
You let the light into my darkened soul.
The cognitive illusive illusions I succumbed to
They disappeared, the second we touched.
At that very moment I knew you were the one.
“That’s when I knew the flame would never die.
The fire never consumed me again.
My demons cowered away inside there shells
The shackles of doubt finally evaporated away.
That was when I knew that I was free.
That was when It became clear we were meant to be. ”
