She Was a Magical Girl

She was a magical girl.
Not a Pollyanna by any means.
But living in a glorious fantasy world.
Taking no prisoners
Dancing at the top of sail ropes
Leaning her truth out of pirate ships.
Refusing to grow up, encouraged by Tinker Bell.

Fancied by rainbow unicorns, admired by mermaids.
Believing in the world’s glitziness and glamour.
Loving her life, exuding love,
Throwing herself into arms at night,
Giving them a whiff of pure, sweet, magical girl power.
Forever memorialized as her darling three-year-old self
Refusing to grow older, taken by cancer before she was four.

It is so NOT FAIR. If there is a cure, and they are keeping it from us, WOE I would not want to be "those who did not give us the remedy".

Oh no, such a dear sweet child, it breaks my heart, how cruel. Kindest loving thoughts Ann xx

It is so cruel, Ann. When children die, there is a certain place in our heart that breaks completely, and we never heal back.
