She Understood Herself

She understood herself relatively well

And shared her ideas with others rarely

Coveted her privacy, retained her shell.

A smart choice, that ensured she was treated fairly.

Sounds like sage advice Caren. You have to be careful when sharing ideas, I found that out when a poet friend used my words and claimed them as her own. I even had proof but she would not acknowledge it. A great write my friend! : )

Connie, I do not often take this advice myself, but I believe it works for those who are private, and keep things close to their chest. Anyway, I have known many women who frankly share so little, it is difficult to give them a proper good bye.
