Notes About The Poem

She Took the L Out of Lover

She took the "L" out of Lover now its over,
And I'm left standing all alone.
She took the "L" out of Lover now it's over,
and I can't make it on my own.

Didn't she know how much I loved her?
and that she meant the world to me.
Didn't she care how much she'd hurt me,
The moment she walked out on me.

She took the "L" out of Lover now it's over,
and and I'm left standing all alone.
She took the "L" out of Lover now it's over,
and I can't make it on my own,

I never knew that she was leaving,
she didn't even say goodbye,
Just took her key off of her keyring,
and left me all alone to cry.

She took the "L" out of Lover now it's over,
and left me standing all alone.
She took the "L" out of Lover now it's over,
and I can't make it on my own.

And I don't want to be alone..............

Reminds me of blue rodeo's latest song, you be the leaver and I'll be the left behind.

This is a clever little tune Cal, can here it at a country bar, pass another bourbon bartender!
