She Spills the Stars

she spills the stars in the sky in her sleep
the girl with wet naked dreams in her head
as the ground shakes, she starts to weep
she knows if she falls, she'll likely be dead
on a tight rope of silk, she walks through the sky
she never looks back or loses her way
the tears turn to stars and fall from her eye
walking until the sun hits her face
the sun burns the silk, she must be gone
through the darkness she falls ever so deep
she wakes up to peace and grins with a yawn
remembering the stars in the sky from her sleep

A lilting, musical piece, nicely rhythmic and vividly imagined...good work.
