She Rushed In Like a Flurry

When something returned home We were surprised, as we had not realized joy had been missing She rushed in like a flurry, talking excitedly Enthusiastic about life, loving college, enjoying people We had not seen this girl's joy for almost ten years She had been hiding in a world of gloom In a bedroom she had painted black, even the ceiling We were thrilled, when something returned home.
