She Rolls Her Eyes

She rolls her eyes at me every time she speaks.
I am amazed but not shocked at her lack of respect
For I have seen her browbeat her mother
She is ten.

I am considered "old school" because I expect children to respect adults who respect them, not the other ones maybe, but the ones who deserve it.

Unfortunately, she has gotten into a habit of it, and her mother thinks it is cute, which it might have been when she was five.
