She Prays
She feels the fear and anguish in the world
so, she prays
Knowing prayers are answered
Prayers of faeries, elves, and angels,
And prayers of everyone else
Her empathy picks up on the hatred of those who do not know
Their neighbors
And do not understand the healing power
of helping strangers
And so, she prays
