morning sun 
you
dance on my windowpane

as I squint hard
to etch your smile 
in my head

my body floats
light as feather 
in your rain

perhaps the sting in my eyes
and clammy palms
indicate that you are so surely
real

Alicia,, Welcome to Poetry soup, I hope you enjoy the community. Here, you will find friendly poets who enjoy supporting one another. I myself, enjoy reading and commenting those who want to be read.
