She Knows He Is Coming
She knows he is coming
The man she loves to hate
He returned to her once again
He has been worse off late.
Everytime she looks at him
Anytime she dare
He doesn't say a word
He hurts her with his stare.
She knows whats' going to happen
When he comes home tonight
She knows again what is to come
And she knows it isn't right.
While once again he takes her
While she cries her silent tears
He's rough with it
It only confirms her fears.
But when he's finished with her
She slips from the bed they share
And sits alone in the dark
Safer now that she's not there.
He awakens and calls out to her
He wants her one more time
She answers obediently to his call
It is not her place to mind.
So once again he has his way with her
And she knows its not his last
But if she does what he says
It will be over fast.
The pain is not just physical
It's in her mind as well
But she will never let it out
There's no one she can tell.
