She Is Easily Distracted

Try to act like a grown up I told my husband.
He rolled his eyes.
We were in the car, and I could not see them, but I knew.
We are on the way to our child’s parent teacher conference.
Our first one ever.

She is easily distracted the teacher told us.
My husband frowns and folds his arms up hard.
He is glaring at her, which is not comfortable for me.
I doubt she is excited either.

There is a blue jay! My husband says, pointing out the window.
………but of course……and the rest of….and…..
I would tell you more if I was not distracted by the ugliness of her mouth.

You are a great story teller dear Caren! And every time you tell a story, you never fail to amuse the readers and put a smile on their faces

It was horribly funny. Every time she said "She...." we both yelled "I DO THAT!" she finally gave up.
