She Is a Delight

She is a delight – in looks and in personality.
We surround her at lunch, wanting to hear her tinkling laugh.
She admires us and enjoys all of our stories.
We can tell the same story sixteen times.
She laughs each time as if she has never heard it.
All old timers need a nurse like this one!

Indeed! I try my very best not to tell the same story more than once to the same people. But, after all, we oldsters have only so many stories, and we do love to tell them.

Joe and I have a horrible habit of saying "heard it" after the second word. We are terrible.
