She Had Been Written Off

Journeying through a pandemic with nary a step fear kept her home for way too many days She devoured her books until they fell off of their spines feeling more alone now wishing she had bought a Kindle or I-pad Writing became an obsession for there was no one to call She had alienated everyone years earlier Been written off as not interested She expired gladly on a Tuesday at two Her cat Morgan-Meister followed suit After the water ran out For she had closed the toilet.
