She Did Not Complain

A friend kept another friends secret she swallowed it whole and hid it in her heart
immediately her heart felt heavy but she would not complain
a little boy she came upon later with bruises on his face she said i'll keep your secret
and placed it in her hip her hip felt tight but she would not complain
a wife had an affair the girl saw her there the women thought for sure she'd tell but
the girl said don't worry at all i'll keep your secret and she placed it on her head
she felt off balance but she carried on collecting peoples secrets and keeping
them to herself till by accident she tripped on a stone and all the secrets were lost to her
but the tightness in her hip was gone she didn't feel off balance and her heart wasn't heavy
she felt alive and spun round and round and said let the secrets go to the sky and they
did and she did not complain
