She Ask

Are you one of them?
I heard her say.

Who might one of them be?
He replied, with the one good eye.

She said; you know
The magic ones.

That comes from the sky.

He found this girl quite bold.
To ask such an ominous question.

From where the white winter covered
Pine tree limbs that cry out in the cold.

He gave her that look as he cocked his head.
Well, if indeed I was, by now you'd be dead.

She replied as she looked him in his one good eye.
So, I can trust you then, with my deep dark secrets of dread.

This neat poem is very surreal and mystical to me, I'm enchanted! Initially, it seems as though she is hopeful to meet another "magic one", yet her closing statement imparts relief, and perhaps she is familiar with the unusual, even dark magic of the sky eyes Debbie. "Pine tree limbs that cry out in the cold..." delicious emotion and sound of imagery...J.A.B.

Debbie, this has the magic and charm that only you can create. It is so straight forward and innocent. Thank you for visiting. I have jet lag and can't stay to long, but you are something special.
