She

As we move through another phase,
Of this love so sweet, so true,
Reminds of the many days,
Spent loving and cherishing you.

I stand here with a ponderous glance,
gently glancing about, sweet remembrance.
What I wouldn't give, for just one more chance,
To be with you once more, pure elegance.

The one beautiful constant,
Is found in her eye,
A brilliantly shining star,
Beneath which, tells me why.

Why she loved,
Why she cared,
Why she wanted me,
Echoes truths about all this....all extraordinary

She wanted me,
She wanted fault,
She wanted the real me.

I wanted love,
I wanted peace,
I gave the real me.

The truth is this,
It's plain to see,
I adore her.....
...and she adores me.
