Shattered Or Complete Promises

Easily broken
They are nonetheless said
The verses of it spilling freely
Like a beautiful melody
From one’s lips.
To trust this
So sweet to one’s ears
Is painless.
But lacking doubt
A promise is loved.
On behalf of the owner: Easy to neglect.
Fragile, delicate
Like a swan
Though words limit its reliability
One will nod and believe
Hoping this promise is indeed fulfilled.
Collecting dust
Or being accomplished
A promise
Should not be counted upon,
For it is on the brink
Of breaking
Or surviving.
Second thoughts are welcome.
