Shattered Normality

sounds of gunfire
    shatter a warm afternoon...
         one more lockdown

gray feral pigeons
scatter from their rooftop nests ...
         tomorrow's headline

Very stark reality with frightening visuals. A picture that is all too common in the world today. Good one. Congrats on the win :)

You are right. Headlines every day. In our mountains a thirteen year old was given a lilcense and a gun to go bear hunting. He shot in the fog at a movement and killed a woman (who should not have been there in hunting season) who was hunting mushrooms Congratulations on a great win. Love, Joyce
