Shattered Laptop
Gorgeous designs in unusual paisleys
delight me in this shattered masterpiece
In the bowels of the background unknown creatures lie
I squint my eyes, trying to decipher and decide
The screen is beautiful now, and it has character
Something that could have never happened before.
I bow to your designs, I tell the mysterious entities
One winks at me, showing me a color I had never before seen.
I take out my paints and begin to attempt to replicate,
hoping to capture a sliver of the excitement I feel
enthusiastic about this laptop for the first time ever.
