Shattered Illusions
I want the brokenness
to shatter
the illusions of life.
Crumbling facades
desperately clinging,
hopelessly parading
what does not matter.
I want the freeing
from fiction
and falsehood prevailing.
Believing the lies
told by others
and to myself.
Dying to selfish,
rebirthing to truth,
manifesting light
in the purity of pursuit.
