Sharon Is Always Sharrin'

Sharon is always sharrin',
No matter what the cause.
From church to nursing home visits to to whatever,
She does it just because . . .

Sharon is always sharrin',
Even on this, her birthday!
When she opened one gift she said with a smile,
"Who wants a mint meltaway?"

Sharon is always sharrin',
I don't know of anyone who does it so well.
With her whimsical smile and genuine laugh,
No one else could answer the bell . . .

Well, Fifty-One is another milestone,
Another year . . . and then she'll be Fifty-Two.
And Sharon will still be sharrin',
But today, Sharon, we share our love for you!

I hope that you gave this to Sharon. This is nice and breezy. I would like to meet Sharon after reading this , so you did something right here, for sure. Thank you for your kind words. I love that 18 minutes line. A man after my own heart. You know, I laughed about that as I wrote that poem. Good catch! Regards, Gerard.
