Shared Nightmare

good friends running scared
chased in the night by their dreams
have the same nightmare
good friends in separate houses
chased by monsters in their dreams

Nightmares are not nice even shared ones. Liked the content of the poem. Has it ever happened to you Caren that you have a nightmare, wake up in a sweat, go back to sleep and the nightmare continues? Poetry hugs and wishes, Jennifer.

It does happen that two people share the same nightmare, we are more connected then we care to admit. Nice one Caren, have a great evening.

Two people sharing the same nightmare would be kind of spooky, and cool. I like what it says about the bond between the two friends :)

I have an acquaintance and a cat who share dreams; I'm told that the has nightmares of bird wings beating her when the cats in her bed asleep. This poem reminded me of that story.
