Share In the Homework

I'm wondering.
Only when knowing, and accepting, a challenging situation,
is the way it has to be,
can only then,
feelings of resistance, frustration, and anger,
subside and set us free.
Have to fight looking at how long the duration,
self defeating for sure.
Just learn to focus on this day,
finding and thanking rare people who still care and listen in turn.
True friends, and the connections they foster,
learn, and share, things together.
Life picks the lessons, we don't, can't, and never will.
Isn't it easier to have others to share in the homework,
and when a lesson is done, celebrate the thrill?
