Should there come a heavy woe
your shoulders can no longer bear,
and should you sight my empty heart
just come to me to share.

Should there come a heavy rain
your shield can no longer bear,
and should you sense my burning nest,
just come to me to share.

Should there come a heavy strain
your mind can no longer bear,
and should you sight my sleepy soul,
just come to me to share.
