Shards of Blue

Threadbare eyes hold long the night secrets trip past most scathing blight dual is the dark last to be unearthed mirrored the lens a mind disturbed Hark, the shrills prepare the abyss left back to carry on a burden amiss with the wind let the trembles lie still where cherry blossoms die Threadbare eyes hold long the night sense forth dawn and hope of light where tender tales are told of you beneath most daunting shards of blue

I'm afraid I might need a head lamp and a pick axe to figure this one out, but I think I like it...

This is beautifully written, but so sad. Sounds like time for a dirty limerick!

Sounds like a bad dream to me Tim Dark poetry seems a lot more personal. Do you agree?

I do think so DT. A lot of this came from the feelings I got from a book I finished last night.

You're right to label this one deep and dark. I'm getting a ladder to help you climb out. What a terrific line, Tim..."Threadbare eyes hold long the night!"
