The brittle chime of memory in GLASS Awaiting the sudden inevitable TWIST To drag the quiet down into deep SHADOW A jarring clatter cut with slow creeping CRIMSON Striking clear conviction down to a SPLINTER Trapping the frantic leaping of the EYE A jagged catching at the corner of the EYE Whenever blind anger cracks the rigid GLASS Choking the weary mind with every vicious SPLINTER Provoked by such a calculated TWIST Coating the turning carousel in CRIMSON Locking the shattered edges into permanent SHADOW The spinning mind negotiates the SHADOW Desperate to force a sweeter picture on the EYE To wipe away the suffocating stain of CRIMSON Frantically rearranging ruins inside the GLASS Praying into the dark for one more careful TWIST To smooth the jagged edges of the sharpest SPLINTER But every whispered promise yields another SPLINTER Dragging the sinking spirit further into SHADOW There is no comfort found in another TWIST It only floods distorts and overpowers the EYE A fog-like condensation settles on the GLASS Slowly bleeding broken patterns into CRIMSON The heavy gears grind down exhausting all the CRIMSON Time begins to blunt the piercing SPLINTER A profound stillness settles deep within the GLASS Fractured memories lock into a stagnant SHADOW A blank compliance finally overcomes the EYE No longer bracing tense for a brutal TWIST The quiet chamber finishes its dragging TWIST A washed-out acceptance cools the vivid CRIMSON A bleak and honest truth confronts the open EYE Tracing the unyielding edge of every single SPLINTER Mapping the intricate permanent designs of SHADOW Reading the final unchangeable picture in the GLASS One final heavy TWIST contains the shattered GLASS Where all that CRIMSON pain reduces to a quiet SPLINTER And paints a long and lasting SHADOW for the open EYE
