Shapes of Friendship
Triangles, triangles,
I don't enjoy being part of a threesome friendship...
Feeling jealous of one joining me and my friend's fun,
However I do not admit,
But when I do
I seem to hurt myself and others bit by bit...
Squares, squares,
I love having someone who dares
To not be with the other two,
And I feel as if a lovely friendship will shine through
The darkness of my soul...
Circles, circles,
Me and a special friend,
Revolving around everyone,
But keeping a tight bond..
Round and round?We go,
Seems to me we'll always be thrown
Right back to each other
Always together...
Until the whole
Rotation of these shapes of friendship
Starts over and ends,
I know that no matter what,
I'll always have friends,
Whether they be mutual or fine...
I want to keep only one person all mine.
