Shaolin Violin Song

I push myself out of my limits into your large crushing arms -that day you held a mirror to my scarred femininity you breathed in tandem with me and it felt like i'd left behind faith for reason along with other themes of innocence that were in season streetlight streamed in so softly, almost sweetly as I examined all of your hard creases and indentations incantations ways you let your body speak for you -the closer we got until only sweat ran between us darkness filling what remained together we understood how very lonely we had left ourselves
