Shantelle
Mellifluous in name alone
For no euphonic mellow tone
Resides in Shantelle's heart of stone.
A fool, I thought we felt the same
But all too soon she quenched the flame
For love was but a callous game.
A stepping stone in life was I
She crushed my heart then passed on by;
Her name will haunt me till I die.
Shantelle.
