They were stoned out of their bodies and mind at Stonehenge Climbed over the fence and enjoyed the Cromlech’s shadows Razor wire would not prevent their midsummer night dream Of being one with the moon which spilled light into their souls Eclipsed by ultimate pleasure the couple drugged into paradise Troubadours of romantic languages settled for tender rebellion Moss never grew on rolling headstones as they gave it their all Cunning tongues played a frolicking intro as an owl watched in awe It was the year 69 on their own personal highway to witches' delight ‘Can’t see the broomstick but we must make love and longing grow’ This was the bosom of nature and he caressed her cusped breasts Mother Gaia approved pushing and pulling like a sweet tidal stream The Northern Star polarized free flowing passion and applauded Changed position as they relived an ancient harmonious fantasy Nude pastures appeared to suggest psychedelia was clear vision When midnight oil burnt fire on soft skins joy and lust they glowed Like a thousand candles on the shrine of togetherness and release One more revolution sated their quest from penultimate shackles Liberated from convention they convened and contested the norm Of missionaries of doom freed from their ancestor’s firm prohibition When Juliet and Romeo warmed to rays of a new dawn’s allusion Exhausted and yet fresh in morning glory and dew’s nascent nurture They had planted one single seed in the womb of sheathed time One parameter’s barb though had pricked their insane protection They called her Shantelle meaning stone and doped they had been 16th February 2020 Written for the theme of Shantelle meaning Stone in Old Occitan Language
