Shame On Them

Shame on society For making you feel like an outcast For making you feel an idiot When you are one of the most intelligent people I know Next to the mundane people I encounter daily Shame on the community that shuts you out Because you are different So, your mind works differently Mine does too The only difference between us is that I don’t have An incriminating diagnosis stamped across my record I hate this society that accepts me but places you In a corner with a dunce cap I need you to know That you can do anything That you can be anything Your normal is not the normal of society, does not fit In the box to which you try to cram yourself Where you are far too vast to fit Because society can’t define you You are perfect the way you are And shame on anyone that makes you believe otherwise
