Shame

I rescued myself,
that's something new.
I thought i was my problem,
but it was you.
I denied it at first,
because I don't wan't to blame.
All my emotions
were cause for my shame.

I am ready to let go now,
I'll live as long as I'm happy.
I can be me because I can forgive,
At least I know I won't judge.

My mind is wide open
I wouldn't hurt an enemy.
Even though you hurt me
I won't let my shame change my path.

My shame is my curse.
I cut through my vains
and I let out my sins.

You'll know what it means.
