Shallow Depths
See the sound of nothing,
listen not to hear.
Darkness is so blinding,
the emptiness seems so near.
And space left with time.
Thoughts became clouded.
Memories were forgotten.
Why are whispers shouted?
Journeying just to stay,
imprisoned to be free.
Damned to live in heaven,
the future is not destiny.
Sadness smiled upon the weak,
eternity was not long to pass.
Death lingered before birth,
crawling along so fast.
Flying far below the ground,
hungry to starve again,
praying not to worship,
the past was the end.
