Shakespearean Tragedy Me

path of least resistance
the souls do choose
and thus we have a soul mate
what better way for a god
or demi god to rid themselves of one not to be
me the shakespearean tragedy
living in a world
far from fair
my gut tells me i shouldnt be here
and love needs to be spared
plan to fail
plan to fail
sorry love
i must turn you away
away in disgust
become everything i truly dislike about myself
and hold it to the extreme

the one left loving me
the one left there by my side
the one who stands tall with me as i plan to fall
is my murderer to be
my soul mate
the one the gods have cursed
alas they have cursed me

the path of least resistance
is it in your life?
when the tough gets going do you get tough?
or do you do what you can while you can
in the name of beauty and love
and show the gods what they shoulda woulda could of

a war in the name of using love as a weapon
