Shady Boyfriends
Parents cultivate their daughters as if they were blooms,
preparing them for a world that can be filled with doom
and gloom, yet, all the teachings and guidance in the world,
sometimes cannot protect them from a fate that is cruel,
Girls grow up, and boyfriends come into the picture,
sometimes introducing them to vices that are less than stellar,
Love becomes the drug that binds daughters and shady boyfriends
together,
Once caught up, they are unable to think wisely,
If a boyfriend is abusive, they suffer silently,
Some may be sociopathic or psychotic
with short tempers, if they are crossed,
it would be a bad time that
your child does not want to remember,
Shady boyfriends offer an allure to the wild
side, once there, daughters realize they are ensconced
in fear, the wrong associations have the potential to ruin
everything they hold dear, in the end, girls become aware
that shady boyfriends don't really care, their sole purpose is to
muddle their minds and gradually destroy their pride.
