Shadows Of What Used To Be
The silhouettes are all that remain:
There is nothing left of them
But the memories that have faded over the years.
From generation to generation,
The stories were passed down,
But now they are forgotten; no one knows them anymore.
So when the sun sets and rises on a new day,
I fear soon all remembrance will disappear—
But I will remember.
And as the sun starts to set, bringing darkness:
I will always remember.
