Shadows In the Night

I am here my love in the darkness of the night Yet, I know you cannot see me maybe you can feel my presence for, I am destined to remain, unmoving, transparent as I witness your sorrow I can do nothing to ease your pain or console you there was a moment a light of such intensity it seemed to beckon me yet, I could not penetrate it though I tried so, I found myself still here with you I do not mean to watch you in your agony but, I know not how to leave I hide here in the shadows of your life to witness your grief.
