Shadows In Our Eyes
Shadows in the eyes, my eyes, their eyes
All with hooded masks of intention
All with the same contradictions
I forgot to mention
The shade covers up and blind's reality
All without the laws of commonality
All with a different personality
I remembered this time
Darker is the circles shadowed beneath the eyes
All the depth caught in cryptic lies
All the truth bundled up in disguise
I am falling far behind
Covering the fear within yellow spines
All the shadows intermingled with mine
All the confusion unknown by design
I still try to push ahead
Entering another shadow of the living dead
All the voices of everything unsaid
All violent sources still being bled
I will never be rid of all these shadows again
I will never see the light while in the shadow of sin
