Shadows In My Eyes

There are shadows
in my eyes

I see them crawling
in my bedroom;
reminding me of a relationship
that went sour

There are shadows
in my eyes

I see them crawling
near a desk that contains
my resignation letter,
reminding me when I was fired

There are shadows
in my eyes;
shadows of memories
I can't stop seeing them.....
