Whispers and prayers
Tokens of torment
For now you aren't there
Jewels and pictures
Smiles and tears
Permanent fixtures
Gone after all the years
Empty and frightened
Loved and broken
A dark day couldnt be brightened
While words are left unspoken
Chances to be taken
Risks and fear
A heart breaking
Sobs that no one can hear
A soul escapes
Pain was so near
Can't out run fate
The ending is always clear
