Shadows

As I walk through the gloom
Down the dark twisted road of doom
Along the way I see shadows of hooded cloaks
Waiting for the right moment to consume
So I travel on down the cobble stone road
Past the bend where the hoot owl moans
Dark shadows follow me now
With every foot step it seems I’ve traveled a mile
These shadows bounce from here to there
They circle around without a care
I do not know of there business with me
When I reach my destination I guess I will see
The moon is bright and guides my way
All the creatures of night come out to play
They take my hand and say have no fear
They are things you don’t know
And you seem not to care
Let us show you your life if you continue this way
All the things you love could be taken away
So we bring you here where the road divides
Its up to you to pick the sides
Depending on your choices decides your stay
don’t let everything you love fade away
