Shadowed Footsteps
So lost without
a reason,
So trapped
inside a care,
The weight of
endless absence,
From hurt when
you’re not there,
Until our eyes
are focused,
Locked and
seen as one,
You’ll shadow my
every footstep,
Until my
day is done.
