Shadowed Cries

I watch the moon and hear you cry
life's to short and people lie
Seldom does a short soul live
what else can this torture give
I look at you and take a breath
I think of life you think of death
I struggle through this constant field
but in my heart I shall not yield
My love for you was always their
yet life is hard it was not fair
And in my heart you'll always be
you'll find love just watch and see
Now I now that others lie
so in the shadows we both cry
And in the end I will strive
for I'll live my life like i'm alive
