Shadow of Death

Every second of every day it gets closer
 Always behind us like our own shadows
 No matter how fast we run it runs faster
 Knowing that it can catch us whenever it wants 
 But it just lets us live longer
                                        Laughing
                                                   At
                                                     our 
                                                        Fear
                                                        
 Until the day it's had enough and swallows us whole
 The Shadow of Death
