Shadow Man

The night reminds me of what has happened
I sleep with a light in fear of you
Though you no longer exist in our home
The thought of you still lingers

But what use does the light do, but cast shadows upon my wall
I will not be afraid of what you have done
I was small then
I am strong now

I do not understand your mind
And why you attempt to twist ours
You have only filled us with rage
You have only filled us with a reason to go forward
