Shadow Kisses

I see her walk by and she is something else We stand side by side in the mirror but her face is shadowed I place my palm to hers but her nails are sharp The claw engulfs my hand and leaves sharp slivers of pain I lick the blood from the cuts, trying to hold myself in She is a shadow, half a person The light avoids her She has a force field So why do I want her She is a lonely silent star and I want to join her constellation She collapses in on herself like a black hole and I have already gotten too close Her kisses are shadows I interlace my hand with her claw In her shadowed room And endure more shadow kisses
