Shadow In the Sun

Here there are deserts,
some of sand and sun.
Love can be barren,
like a deal undone.

An oath is given,
fingers wearing gold.
There's no taking back,
a heart that's been sold.

Rise above hardships,
you were meant to be.
A sailboat called love,
on an endless sea.

When two stand as one,
shadow in the sun.
