Shadow Dance

A silhouette of pure perfection
As I watch your shadow smile
Your shadow shows me no rejection
And I cannot feel denial

Our shadows ever holding hands
As I follow close behind
Standing closely where it stands
For it never seems to mind

Brought together by the sun
Like many times before
I ponder on the things we've done
Til our shadows meet once more

I know we'll never stand a chance, to ever know romance
But I'll be okay, if everyday, I can watch our shadows dance
