Shadow Battle

Darkness brings the shadows Daylight brings them too There is nowhere to hide When the shadows inside of you The shadows never listen Just cast doubt over me I fear this is a battle No one else can see Forever reaching into darkness Means I never see Good or bad I cannot tell The shadows own me The glimpse of light I thought I saw Was coming from so far I worked and fought so very hard To reach another closed door Fighting everyday This battle in my head The war is never over Until I end up dead
