Shades of Blue

stars
             speckle
         the night's sky
        ~giving birth to
                light

                lost
              within
         this soft glow
   ~my thoughts drift to
                you

            shades
            of blue
        set the tones
      of my longing
             heart

               soft
            breezes
        embrace me
   ~yet your arms do
               not

                  I
           wonder
      where you are
  ~I miss your soft
             touch
